SYNOPSIS
The Bread Factory, a community arts center, rehearses the ancient Greek play, HECUBA. But the real theatrics are outside the theatre where the small town of Checkford is being invaded by bizarre tourists and strange tech start-up workers. Mysteriously, the reporter who runs the local newspaper disappears. The town seems to become more and more inhospitable for the Bread Factory, and the owners, Dorothea and Greta, must face the difficult decision of whether to give up their work or to continue in their struggle to build community through art, despite the changing landscape of the town.
